Technology Fundraiser

Hearts and Homes for Refugees is partnering with the Westchester Youth Congress (WYC) in an effort to raise funds that will be used toward purchasing technology for refugees. The WYC is a student-led, non-profit organization that works to solve problems within local Westchester communities. We are working with Hearts and Homes for Refugees because it has come to our attention that many refugees lack access to technology. The WYC created this fundraiser to help support Hearts and Homes for Refugees in obtaining funds for technology that will be given to refugees. Refugees coming into the United States are hit with many hardships and struggles. The accessibility to technology can help to ease some of these struggles. It can allow for refugees to access online job information, communicate with other refugees, access banking, and many other daily necessities.
