The global refugee crisis is a humanitarian emergency that has been exacerbated by COVID-19. In difficult times, vulnerable groups of people —particularly women and girls — are often hit hardest. The current global refugee population is the highest on record since World War II, and more than half of refugees are children. While programs exist to support refugees, they remain severely underfunded. ICONIQ Impact recently announced five finalists for the Larsen Lam ICONIQ Impact Award, which will award $12M to an innovative solution to support refugees.
